Join a Wellfleet Bay naturalists on a trip to the 242-acre Sachuest Point National Wildlife Refuge in Middletown, Rhode Island. Scan the rocky coast for purple sandpipers, harlequin ducks, loons, and grebes; then seek out sparrows, horned larks, and Eastern meadowlarks in the grasslands. We'll also be on the lookout for birds of prey, as short-eared and barn owls have been seen here.

Instructions and Directions:

Transportation from the sanctuary is provided. Please arrive at the sanctuary and check-in 10 minutes before the program begins. Dress for the weather and bring a brown bag lunch. Bring binoculars; we'll provide a scope.

Please note our cancellation policy: In order to receive a refund, you must notify us of your cancellation at least 7 days before the program begins. If we cancel the program, you will receive a full refund. We reserve the right to change programs, schedules, and instructors, and to cancel programs due to low enrollment or unfavorable weather.
