The Secret Lives of Bats

Description

Are vampire bats real? How do bats navigate in complete darkness? What bat species live right here in western Massachusetts? Discover the answers to all your bat questions while having fun along the way.

Set out on a bat scavenger hunt through Arcadia's trails, play an echolocation game where you'll navigate using your senses the way bats do, make a bat-themed craft, and even measure your own wingspan. You'll also discover why bats are quiet heroes for local farmers, eating enormous quantities of crop-destroying insects every night.

Checking registration status.
