Birds of prey like Bald Eagle, Snowy Owl, Peregrine Falcon, and Rough-legged Hawk take up residence on New England's coast every winter. In this online program, learn where to view them, why they are present now, and how to confidently identify them along with our year-round resident raptors.

Meet your presenters:

Kathy Seymour, bird and nature lover who has been leading bird trips, teaching classes, and conducting bird banding research at Drumlin Farm for over 15 years.

Jane Sender, an avid birder who enjoys teaching others about birds and co-leading bird trips with Kathy for Drumlin Farm.

A portion of this program is funded through the generosity of the Newburyport Bank and Boston Partners Financial Group, LLC.

This lecture is one of the online offerings in this year's Merrimack River Eagle Festival. For more information about the Eagle Festival and a full list of participating programs, please visit massaudubon.org/eaglefestival2022 for more information.
