Woodward Discovery Days: Turkey Time

Woodward Discovery Days opens the Oak Knoll Nature Center to everyone, free of charge, for a morning of fun wildlife discoveries. This month's theme: turkeys!

Get to know one of the most iconic and surprising birds in the region, from the behavioral quirks and social structure of wild turkey flocks to the tracks, signs, and habitat they depend on around Oak Knoll. Visit exhibits and activity stations and head outside for an optional walk in search of turkeys and their signs on the sanctuary's trails.

Come and go as you like, spending as little or as much time as you choose across the exhibits, activity stations, and the trail.
