Description
Wild turkeys gobble, scratch, and strut through the Stony Brook trails year-round, and in November they start flocking together and foraging for food in preparation for winter.
On this late fall walk, little naturalists and their families follow a trail of turkey track markers through the sanctuary with a Mass Audubon guide, searching for signs of these impressive birds in their natural habitat. Back inside, learn about turkey behavior and make a turkey craft to bring home.
Every Tiny Trekkers program connects young learners to the natural world, building the curiosity and care that grows into a lifetime of environmental stewardship.
