Take full advantage of the glorious birds that spring migration brings by getting out really early! This is the time when birds are most active and easiest to see. Together, we'll explore the many different habitats of the Parker River National Wildlife Refuge, where we'll look for and listen to shorebirds, warblers, vireos, flycatchers, and more.

Instructions and Directions:

Meet at Joppa Flats Education Center. From there, we'll travel by Mass Audubon vans. Masks are optional both outdoors and indoors. However, anyone wishing to travel in a Mass Audubon vehicle must wear a mask and present their vaccination record (actual or photo) for visual confirmation. Carpooling is encouraged for those who do not wish to travel in a Mass Audubon vehicle.

Wear clothing and footwear appropriate for the weather and the terrain. Bring a field guide, binoculars, and a scope if you have one. Bathroom facilities are available during this program.

Mass Audubon Cancellation Policy: If you wish to withdraw less than seven days prior to the program, refunds cannot be issued. If we cancel the program, you will be refunded in full.

Registration is required.
