Late Autumn Bird Walk

Description

As fall reaches its final stages, the seasonal transition brings all kinds of birds to the park. Year-round residents still go about their routines while lingering fall migrants make their last moves south. At the same time, early winter arrivals from the north, including Golden-crowned Kinglets and Dark-eyed Juncos, begin to appear.

A naturalist will guide you on a walk and help you sort through the layered activity, identify what you're seeing and hearing, and distinguish which birds are passing through from the ones that are here to stay. Birders of all experience levels are welcome.

Checking registration status.
