If your child enjoys nature, why not celebrate his or her birthday in the Blue Hills? We provide the program and facilities; you provide the birthday decorations and cake.

Trailside Museum birthday parties are for ages 3 and older and are scheduled on Saturdays or Sundays from either 11:00 am–1:00 pm or 2:30–4:30 pm. 

COST: $300 nonmember, $250 Mass Audubon member

Group maximum of 20 children

There must be one adult chaperone for every 5 children, with a maximum of 20 adults.

Birthday Parties Include

  • Admission to the museum and grounds for you and your guests
  • Exclusive use of our auditorium from 11:00 am–1:00 pm or 2:30–4:30 pm
  • A 50 to 60-minute naturalist program of your choice

Meet a Trailside turtle or snake and create a craft you can bring home.

Happy Hoot

Meet a Trailside owl and create an owl craft you can bring home.

Birds of Prey

Meet a hawk or falcon up close and learn about the birds of prey that call the Blue Hills home.

Ages 7 & Up

Animal Experience

Does your Birthday Girl or Boy just love animals? Party participants will meet two of Trailside's resident animals and learn all about them from a naturalist.
