Birds & Birding

Join us on an upcoming birding program or go birding on your own.

Canoeing and Kayaking

Experience the Ipswich River by canoe or kayak, May-October, weather permitting.

Camping

Perkins Island is the sanctuary's only camping area providing a wilderness-type setting at the sanctuary for canoeists.

Innermost Cabin

Spend the night in a rustic 1915 cabin at the edge of the woods off our Innermost Trail, approximately 100ft from the parking area. May-October.

Nature Preschool

Ipswich River Wildlife Sanctuary is proud to offer a nature preschool for 3–5-year-olds located at Endicott Wildlife Sanctuary in Wenham.
