Description
Butterflies, beetles and bugs, oh my! Explore field and forest looking for butterflies, beetles and other insects. Leisurely walk forest trails as we carefully roll logs to find rollie-pollies, ants, beetles, centipedes and other invertebrates like slugs and worms. Use sweep nets in the meadow to gently collect butterflies and other flying insects for a closer look and use magnifiers to investigate milkweed looking for monarch eggs and caterpillars. Learn simple actions to help protect these important critters at home.
