About MABA
MABA, home to Mass Audubon’s world-class art collection, inspires and educates people about the natural world through art. The collection includes paintings, sculpture, photography, and works on paper by some of the art-world’s most beloved artists, including Mark Catesby, Charley Harper, Lars Jonsson, Andy Warhol, and Milton Avery. It spans 300 years of art history and a broad range of genres, from sporting art and pop art to field guide illustration and contemporary sculpture.
By experiencing works of art from MABA’s collection, and by seeing the natural world through the eyes of artists, we hope to deepen the appreciation for birds and inspire a sense of wonder that fosters environmental stewardship.
