Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary Camp building roof solar array.

In 2006, we installed a solar ground-mounted array and a roof-mounted array on the top of our camp building.

Combined, these arrays produce 21 kW and reduce the electricity the sanctuary draws from the public electric provider. This has allowed us to take a dramatic step toward energy self-reliance.
