Migrating south from their breeding ground in the Arctic tundra, the magnificent snowy owls winter over on the Massachusetts coast. Learn about the research on snowy owls as we seek out these seasonal beach visitors. Additional seasonal sights may include snow buntings and wintering wildfowl. We will meet at Duxbury Beach, on the ocean side of the Powder Point Bridge, and explore together in Mass Audubon vans.

Instructions and Directions:

Participants should meet on the ocean side of Powder Point Bridge behind the Harbormasters building. Special parking permission only applicable for the duration of the program.
