In Massachusetts, early spring wildflowers race against time to bloom before the surrounding trees leaf out, while late bloomers embrace the shade. Learn about some of these beautiful, delicate flowering plants and the ecological partnerships they form. We'll look at flower and leaf structure just enough to master basic identification and share some stories of local lore as we tour the wildflowers of spring and early summer.
