For more than 30 years, thousands of COASTSWEEP volunteers have cleaned hundreds of miles of shoreline and riverbanks all over Massachusetts, and over the past 11 years, the Joppa Flats crew has collected more than 17 tons of debris just from our neighborhood. Come and help us remove trash and debris from the beaches of Plum Island, including Parker River National Wildlife Refuge, Sandy Point State Reservation, and the north end of the island. Bring family, friends, and coworkers, and give us a hand helping protect the nature of Massachusetts!
Meet at Parking Lot #1 on the Parker River National Wildlife Refuge on Plum Island, Newbury. Bring work gloves. Program will be held rain or shine.
