Description
As dusk settles over Moose Hill, a whole new cast of characters take to the air. This evening hike focuses on the bats of Massachusetts—what they eat, how echolocation works, and what we can do to support healthy bat populations.
Head out into the fading light to watch bats in action as they hunt while listening for other nocturnal and crepuscular animals that come alive at the same hour. It's a vivid reminder of just how much is happening in the natural world after the sun goes down, and how much our lives and the lives of bats are connected.
