Description
September is one of the most exciting times to bird at Boston Nature Center since migration is in full swing, joining year-round residents at the sanctuary.
A BNC naturalist will guide you through the urban wildlife sanctuary, pointing out resident species and fall visitors and teaching how to recognize them by color, call, and behavior. Perfect for all levels, this relaxed morning walk is a welcoming introduction to the birdlife thriving right in the heart of Boston. The sanctuary's flat, accessible trails and expert guides offer a clear path to some surprising sightings, like Merlins, Savannah Sparrows, and Vireos.
