This program is open to anyone who identifies as LGBTQIA2S+. If you are not a member of the LGBTQIA2S+ community, we invite you to enjoy other Mass Audubon programs that are open to allies.

Meet other LGBTQIA2S+ nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts through 'big talk' conversational prompts facilitated by 'Skip the Small Talk'! In this speed friending activity, your facilitator will provide ground rules and structure to make sure you feel comfortable and safe sharing as much of yourself as possible while still feeling in control of how much you divulge. While you're forming new connections, keep your hands busy with provided craft supplies and make something beautiful like a pressed flower bookmark, friendship bracelet, or collage. End the evening with an optional trip up the drumlin to enjoy the view and watch the sunset.

This speed friending activity will take place in a wheelchair accessible pavilion. If you choose to join us for the sunset viewing, the path we will use is a moderately sloped grassy hill. For additional accessibility needs, please contact us and we would be happy to share information about any additional accommodations we can provide.

Registration is required.
