Description
When you look at sparrows, do you see only shades of brown, a blur of stripes and feel a sense of frustration? If so, this program is for you.
Begin indoors with a classroom presentation where you'll learn a systematic approach to identifying sparrows. Explore key field marks, habitat preferences, and seasonal occurrences as clues to help you to distinguish one species from another. You'll then head outdoors to walk the trails and practice the approach you learned in class. By the end of the program, you'll leave with greater confidence and a new appreciation for these little birds.
