Start your 2023 birding off with a bang as we travel to the North Shore to record as many of the wintering sea and land birds as we can. We will try to maximize the variety of birds we see throughout the day. By Jan 1st, most of the sought-after field birds can be spotted, including Snow Buntings, American Pipits, Lapland Longspurs, Rough-legged Hawk, Glaucous & Iceland gulls, Puffins & Dovekie, and unusual sea ducks like King Eider or Barrow's Goldeneye. Our goal is to locate as many of these species as we can to start our 2023 birding year on a high note.

This program is also open to teens ages 14 and older with an adult.
