Become a climate change leader! Find your voice, have fun with others who care, and help your community at Arcadia's first ever Youth Climate Leadership Camp. This one-week session is for rising 6th-10th graders. Throughout the session, campers will learn all they need to know to design and carry out a climate action project while experiencing the best that summer camp has to offer: hikes to the far edges of the sanctuary, a canoe adventure, team building activities, water games, imaginative play, and more. Participants will leave with a sense of hope and the tools they need to be climate change leaders in their communities and beyond.
Camp will take place mostly outdoors with the exception of bathroom use and extreme inclement weather. Campers should be dressed for all weather conditions, as well as both mosquito and tick prevention.
We anticipate that we will continue to practice the wearing of masks, physical distancing, small group sizes, enhanced sanitizing protocols, and all other recommended health and safety guidelines. As we learn more from working closely with partners in public health, childcare, and camping, we will continue to keep our camp community updated.
