This workshop will focus on how to bring science based, engaging, and meaningful climate change lessons into your classroom. You will explore the basic science of climate change, try some activities, get a preview of Arcadia's Climate Solutions field trip, and brainstorm some climate solutions you can use at your school. You'll leave with new confidence in teaching climate science, a list of helpful climate resources, techniques for introducing climate change to your students in a fun and grade-level appropriate way, and ideas for actions you can take right away.

There will be time for a BYO picnic lunch and participants will receive a certificate for 5 hours of instruction.
