How to Make Herbal Salves and Oils

Description

Start outside in the Clark-Cooper Community Garden and Boston Food Forest, harvesting the herbs that have fueled healing traditions for generations. Back inside, blend your harvest into a salve from scratch, combining infused olive oil with shea butter and beeswax while learning about the traditional and modern applications of each plant.

You'll leave with a handmade, plastic-free remedy and a deeper understanding of the living pharmacy growing at Boston Nature Center. This grounding, sensory program connects plant knowledge, local ecology, and wellness in a single afternoon.
