Family Camp is fun for campers of all ages—from toddlers to grandparents! Wildwood has just what your family needs to enjoy some quality time together in a safe, quiet, and beautiful natural setting. Bring the whole family to explore nature, reconnect with one another, and meet other outdoor-loving families. Each family group lives in their own rustic cabin, yurt, platform tent or one of our new 'wooden tents'. We also offer option of BYO tent to set up on platforms.
A variety of fun, age-appropriate activity options are always available, including: swimming, kayaking, nature crafts, hiking, high-ropes challenges, birding, and campfire songs. There are also plenty of opportunities to relax on the waterfront! Family Camp is a great way for parents to introduce future Wildwood overnight campers to all the fun and excitement Wildwood has to offer.
Each family group, up to eight people, is housed in its own platform tent, rustic cabin, yurt, or 'wooden tent' complete with bunkbeds and mattresses. Toilets and hand-washing stations are available at each unit. The central shower building with sinks and composting toilets is a short walk from any unit. There are 6-8 platform tents, 8 cabins, 4 yurts and three 'wooden tents' available each session. Be sure to select the correct program listing for your desired housing option!
Camp begins in the afternoon on the first day of the program and ends in the morning on the last day. Whether this is your first time camping, or the first time in a while, Wildwood has just what you need to enjoy some quality family time in a supportive, relaxing, and beautiful natural setting.
