Who-o-o isn't curious about owls? This program will begin with a discussion of some of the unique adaptations such as sight, hearing, and feather anatomy that make owls such a fascinating family of birds. We'll finish with a short walk during which we'll discuss habitat preferences of owls and where you might find them, while watching and listening for any owls that are out and about on the Sanctuary.
PLEASE NOTE: This program will be conducted in accordance with current Municipal, State, and Mass Audubon Covid-19 protocols. Groups are limited to 11 pre-registered adults. Participants are required to wear a face covering and follow social distancing guidelines. A detailed confirmation letter will be emailed 24 hours before the program.
This is an outdoor program. Dress to be outside in winter for 90 minutes with minimal activity. Bring a small flashlight or headlamp.
