This three program series is a great way to take a deep dive into fall bird migration. Beginning with the earlier September warbler migrants, we will search for skulky October sparrows, and then finish with later waterfowl in November that round out the last of fall migration. Sparrow Migration

Canoe Meadows Community Gardens

Sort through the secretive, skulky sparrows that stopover at the Community Gardens to feast on leftover seeds from the year. Part of this program will be spent learning sparrow identification by sight and sound while the rest of the time will be spent searching for these striped birds as they move quickly through the old vegetation.
