Explore the unexpected world of Boston birds together with your family. Walk the trails of the Boston Nature Center, learning to spot and identify local residents and seasonal visitors by their behaviors, field marks, and calls.
With weekly sessions throughout the fall, each visit offers a timely opportunity to learn more about migration, habitat, and survival strategies, giving kids and adults alike a richer picture of the birds living alongside us in the city.
You'll also learn how to make the most of apps like Merlin and eBird, connecting you to a global online community of citizen scientists and an easy way to take the adventure home with you. Binoculars and field guides are provided, so all you need to bring is curiosity.

Meet inside the Nature Center. Binoculars and field guides will be provided. Expect to walk up to one mile on flat, even trails. Bring sturdy footwear.
Ample parking, bathrooms, and a water bottle filling station available on site.
