Spring birdwatching on Cape Cod can reveal a diversity of species and almost anything can show up. We'll explore a variety of locations which will allow us to view both land and waterbirds. Trip highlights include a visit to Mass Audubon's Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary's migratory songbird banding station and a whale watch to look for sea birds with Dolphin Fleet out of Provincetown. April is a great time for birdwatching because early migrants are arriving, the winter birds are still around, and a few rarities overshoot their breeding ranges and end up on the Cape every year.
