Wings, tails, and feathers, oh my! Each part of a bird's anatomy is an important clue into their correct identification. By building upon common birds that you may already know, we'll lay out a simple identification system based on observation comparisons. Once you know what to look for, and understand how physical features are clues into a bird's lifestyle, identification becomes much less daunting.
