This online presentation will reveal the big, the tall, and the old: the amazing trees that have power to inspire us. The Native Tree Society (NTS) searches for, measures, and documents outstanding trees and forest sites all over the United States. In this regard, Massachusetts fairs better than one might expect. Learn about the larger-than-life trees of our forests from different perspectives, including climate mitigation and carbon sequestration. Discover the tools and approaches used to measure trees today, and what to look for on your next journey into the forest.

Presenter: Bob Leverett; Co-Founder, The Native Tree Society
