Join Mass Audubon naturalists for a paddle along the coastline of Barnstable and Yarmouth. We will launch from Long Pasture Audubon and make our way over to Short Wharf creek to look at the remains of the historic wharf as well as osprey nesting poles, sand dunes, marshes and other bits of wildlife along the way.
. This trip is intended for those with previous kayaking experience. Participants will be required to wear life vests. Kayaks, paddles, life vests and safety equipment are provided.
This reservation is for a single kayak.
Pre-registration is required. Previous (recent) kayaking experience and good swimming ability are required.
Participants must be 16 years or older to participate and must accompanied by an adult.
All participants must complete the attached waiver in the registration document and bring it with them to the program.
What to Bring:
We provide a single kayak, paddles and life jackets; all participants are required to wear life jackets. We recommend that you bring sunscreen,hat, water shoes, and drinking water.
Participants are required to bring and wear their own facemask for the duration of the program.
