A Nature Year at Habitat

Description

Immerse yourself in a full year of local natural history! This monthly program guides you through the full seasonal cycle of the sanctuary throughout the year, from fall insects and winter tracking to spring ponds and summer insects.

Participants will build their knowledge of different ecosystems and wildlife behaviors, form community with like-minded adults, develop a lasting connection to the landscape, and learn about the conservation practices being done to protect it.

Each session begins with a brief introduction inside before spending at least 90 minutes exploring the trails, boardwalks, and varied habitats of the sanctuary. By the end of the year, you'll be equipped with the knowledge to see the natural world in a richer light. There might be an occasional change in timing or topic depending on what nature provides.
