Description
Shrublands support a surprising diversity of species throughout New England. Discover how shrubland habitats form, which birds have adapted specifically to low-canopy environments, and why many of these species are in decline as their habitat grows into forest or gives way to development. Delve into the work that landowners and conservation organizations are doing to support shrubland birds across the state.
This program is part of the Birding by Habitat Online Series. Each session stands alone, but if you register for the whole series before it starts on October 6, you get all six sessions for the price of five. Other session topics include salt marshes, woodlands, grasslands and more.
Recordings will be sent to registrants after the program.
