Early morning is when birds are most active and easiest to hear and see. As birds migrate to and through our area, you'll observe breeding behavior while learning field identification skills and how to recognize birdsongs.

May 8: Ipswich River Wildlife Sanctuary, Topsfield
May 22: Parker River National Wildlife Refuge, Newbury
May 29: Martin Burns Wildlife Management Area, Byfield

Instructions and Directions:

You will receive information about the exact meeting place in an email the day before the program. Bring binoculars, a field guide to birds, and a scope if you have one. Wear clothing and footwear appropriate for the weather and terrain.

PLEASE NOTE: This program will be conducted in accordance with current Municipal, State, and Mass Audubon Covid-19 protocols. Groups are limited to 13 preregistered adults. Participants are required to wear a face covering and follow social distancing guidelines. Mass Audubon cannot loan field equipment at this time.
