Autumn Birding: Fall Warblers

By August, the brilliant colors of spring warblers have shifted into subtler and often confusing fall plumage. Untangling the lessons of these softer hues is one of birdwatching's most satisfying puzzles. Learn how and why warbler plumages change between breeding and fall seasons, gaining an intuitive sense of the logic behind identification.
