Spring pulses with waves of vocal feathered migrants. Waterfowl and hawks pass through rapidly, shorebirds drop in on wet fields, and new neotropical migrants arrive each week. In this five-session series, we'll learn migration dynamics and birdsong, and explore great regional birding areas close to home. Suitable for moderate-to-advanced birders.

Wednesday evening classes with weekend field trips. Transportation not provided; carpooling is encouraged.

Instructions and Directions:

Weekend field trips are weather-dependent and schedules vary depending on destinations. For field trips, bring binoculars, field guide, and notebook.
