Take a deeper, more scientific look into the biodiversity of Broad Meadow Brook habitats in this five-part series. Each week we will investigate a different part of the sanctuary, looking at plants and animals, the habitats they live in, and changes through the seasons. We will examine soil composition and measure water levels in the streams, ponds and vernal pools. Record your findings in a nature journal each day and compare data across habitats and seasons.
