Insects are all around us, but are mostly noticed when they annoy us. In this program we will learn what an insect is and why they are important for the health of the natural world. We will explore the trails and meadows to unearth and uncover some insects and observe them up close with hand lenses.
This program will be held entirely outdoors, so please bring rain and cold weather gear as needed. In the case of inclement, every effort will be made to reschedule the event.
PLEASE NOTE: This program will be conducted in accordance with current Municipal, State, and Mass Audubon Covid-19 protocols. Groups are limited to 20 pre-registered children and adults. Participants are required to wear a face covering indoors and follow social distancing guidelines.
