Winter is a great time to observe raptors flying over fields in search of food. The east and west meadows in Northampton are ideal spots for us to view these birds, including Red-tailed Hawks, Northern Harriers, Bald Eagles, and even hardier falcons that frequently visit our site. We'll take a walk in the meadows looking for raptors.

Instructions and Directions:

Meet at Arcadia Wildlife Sanctuary. Depending on the location of birds and weather conditions, we will either walk to the Arcadia meadows or drive to a nearby location. This program will be conducted in accordance with current Municipal, State, and Mass Audubon Covid-19 protocols. The program will take place entirely outdoors, however indoor restrooms are available.
