Cape Cod Bird Sightings — Tuesday, March 3, 2026
Cape Cod Weekly Wildlife Sightings is sponsored by the Bird Watchers General Store in Orleans and Mass Audubon's Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary. The following sightings were reported between February 25 and March 3, 2026.
A Baltimore Oriole has been coming to a mealworm feeder in Brewster since the storm.
At least two Barrow’s Goldeneye continue in Sandwich, with single individuals also seen in Orleans and Eastham this week.
Other sightings around the Cape included a Black Vulture in Bourne, a Brown Thrasher in Falmouth, an Orange-crowned Warbler continuing at a feeder in Mashpee, 4 Chipping Sparrows and a Western Willet in Chatham, 3 Wood Ducks and an American Coot in Orleans, 232 Greater Scaup in North Truro, and a Thick-billed Murre and a Northern Pintail in Provincetown Harbor.
