Fall-o'ween Weekend at Drumlin Farm

Special Event: Friday, October 24 & Saturday, October 25

Owl hoots fill the air and autumn leaves swirl—Halloween has found its way back to Drumlin Farm. This year, a new enchantment of activity casts a spell over the farm all weekend long.  Get into the spooky spirit with campfires, costumes, wildlife, and more for families, kids, and adults.

Campfires & Critters

Friday, October 24 • 6:00-8:30 pm
Families with children ages 5+

Gather around the campfire to toast s’mores and listen to festive (but not-too-spooky) tales. Step inside the Creepy Critter Mansion to meet a live owl and get an up-close look at snakes, insects, and other night crawlers. Take a closer look at real animal furs, feathers, and bones, then go on a short evening stroll along an eerie wooded trail. Halloween costumes encouraged!

Spend the day exploring a patchwork of fall-themed activities:

  • Take a festive hayride through scenic farm fields
  • Climb, jump, roll, and laugh in the Hay Play area
  • Visit craft making, face painting, and nature game stations
  • Listen to a story from the Drumlin Witch
  • Explore the Creepy Critter Mansion with snakes, insects, and more
  • Meet owl ambassadors and other wildlife friends
  • Enjoy live music from the Skeleton Trio Band

Bring your own picnic or grab food on-site. Costumes earn a free farm treat! Activities run in time blocks throughout the day—arrive when you like and enjoy at your own pace.

Embrace the magic of the season with a cozy evening of creativity by firelight. Draw inspiration from creatures of the night to craft and decorate your own papier-mâché mask, perfect for a last-minute Halloween costume.

While your masterpieces dry, gather around the campfire for s’mores. Share ghost stories, crafting tips, and autumn memories with fellow nature lovers and creative ghouls.

All supplies and ingredients will be provided.
