Climate Champions Program
Climate Champions is a new initiative to activate Mass Audubon’s 160,000 members into the strongest voice for climate action in Massachusetts. This unique program offers anyone the opportunity to work with Mass Audubon’s successful organizing team to advocate for policies that protect nature and wildlife, accelerate the clean energy transition, and center conservation as a key solution to the climate crisis.
By joining Climate Champions, you’ll be able to help Mass Audubon advocate for climate policy at the State House and receive training on how to organize your neighbors to influence crucial environmental regulations in your town or city. We hope you’ll join us as we work to make Massachusetts the international leader in protecting biodiversity and the climate.
What You'll Do
- Learn about environmental policy from leading experts in their fields
- Receive training on advocacy strategies and community organizing from Mass Audubon’s professional staff
- Get connected with local advocates to organize around critical climate and biodiversity issues
- Lobby your legislators on important pieces of climate legislation
- Discover monthly opportunities to take action and protect Massachusetts' nature and climate

- Passion for protecting the climate and biodiversity
- Excitement to get involved in Massachusetts politics and local decision-making
- A Zoom account to access our monthly meetings
- 2-10 hours each month
