Crops Field Volunteers

Location: Lincoln, MA
Sanctuary: Drumlin Farm

Learn sustainable agriculture techniques as you assist our staff with seedlings in the green house, and classic field chores including seeding, transplanting, weeding, thinning, and harvesting vegetables. A wide array of crops and annual flowers are grown. Produce is sold at our on-location veggie stand, through our Community Supported Agriculture program, to restaurants and at downtown farmers’ market.  This is local farming at its best. Flexible scheduling is available. Small groups of volunteers (five to eight) are welcome as well as individuals. No prior experience is needed.

Qualifications

Must be at least 15 years old.
