Drumlin Farm Fall CSA
Fall CSA Details
September 7–November 16, 2022
What You'll Get
Bridge the summer and fall seasons with this diverse share. Shareholders receive 11 distributions of high-quality, sustainably-grown vegetables from our farm and also have the opportunity to sign up for several optional add-ons.
You'll get summer favorites like heirloom tomatoes, peppers, carrots, and cooking greens, along with seasonal fall highlights like:
Parsnips • Butternut Squash • Beets • Onions • Potatoes • Garlic • Sweet Potatoes • Edible Pumpkins • Popcorn • ...and more!
At each distribution we aim to provide our shareholders with 8-18 different crops, filling the weekly vegetable needs of a family of four (or two to four adults) depending on how often you cook and how central vegetables are to your diet. Full shareholders receive additional volume as well as variety.
Our goal is to provide a 20% return on shareholder's initial investment, and pass along the abundance when we experience bumper crops. All shareholders also receive weekly emails with cooking tips, recipes, and updates about our farm, farmers, and farming practices.
→ You must be a regular Fall CSA shareholder to sign up for any of these options. ←
PYO Veggie Share ($60)
Pick-Your-Own (PYO) shareholders get to join the harvest in Boyce Field and pick crops themselves, occasionally gaining access to crops that are not available for that week's regular share. As growing conditions vary every year, this add-on begins when the crops are plentiful enough to support harvesting, typically several weeks into the distribution. Must be a regular Fall CSA shareholder to sign up.
Fruit Share ($TBD)
We partner with Autumn Hills Orchard in Groton, MA, to offer you locally-grown peaches, several varieties of apples, pears, grapes, berries, and more. The Fruit Share runs for the first 10 weeks of the Fall CSA program. Must be a regular Fall CSA shareholder to sign up.
Harvest, Field, or Distribution work shares are available and offer discounts ranging from $60-$500 off a CSA share. Work shares are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please contact us if you have questions, or would like more information, about this year’s work share options.
