CSA Program Update
We will be adjusting our Fall CSA pick-up process as time goes on to adhere to all recommended COVID-19 guidelines. This may include a switch to pre-boxed, curbside pick-up offered at the same price.
Fall CSA Details
What You’ll Get
Bridge the summer and fall seasons with this diverse share. Shareholders receive 10 distributions of high-quality, sustainably-grown vegetables from our farm.
You'll get summer favorites like heirloom tomatoes, peppers, carrots, and cooking greens, along with seasonal fall highlights like:
Parsnips • Butternut Squash • Beets • Onions • Potatoes • Garlic • Sweet Potatoes • Edible Pumpkins • Popcorn • ...and more!
Fill your own bags and boxes from a set list of freshly harvested crops. Each distribution will provide shareholders with 8-18 different crops, filling the weekly vegetable needs of a family of four (or two to four adults), depending on how often you cook and how central vegetables are to your diet.
Should I get a Full Share or a Half Share?
A Half Share is equal to half the volume of produce included in a Full Share. Please note that some items may differ between Full and Half Shares in any given week.
All shareholders also receive weekly emails with cooking tips, recipes, and updates about our farm, farmers, and farming practices.
PYO Veggie Share ($50)
Pick-your-own (PYO) shareholders harvest set amounts of cherry tomatoes and string beans. Due to the prohibitive amount of time it takes us to harvest them for all of our shareholders, these particular crops are are either excluded or offered in limited quantities to regular CSA shareholders.
Gain access to greater volumes of these farm favorites by enrolling in a PYO Veggie Share! You must be a regular Fall CSA shareholder to sign up for this option.
Fruit Share ($95)
We partner with Autumn Hills Orchard in Groton, MA, to offer you locally-grown fruit for all 10 weeks of the Fall CSA program. At each distribution, you'll receive a half-peck of fruit that consists of a variety of apples and may include grapes, pears, peaches, or plums.
Information and registration details will be emailed to all shareholders 2-3 weeks before the first distribution. You may also email us to register. Only regular Fall CSA shareholders can sign up for the Fruit Share add-on.
Autumn Hills is a sustainable orchard that relies on Integrated Pest Management to nurture and protect their trees.
Harvest and Field work shares are available, and offer discounts ranging from $55-$220 off a regular CSA share. Work shares are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please contact us if you have questions, or would like more information, about this year’s work share options.
