Trailside Gets Its Own Children's Book
Blue Hills Trailside Museum now has its very own children's book!
One Day at Trailside is a charming story about a group of remarkable children who love nature and, through their experiences at the sanctuary, become committed to protecting wildlife and preserving their natural habitats. It even features real staff members and visitors as characters!
The book was written by Ann Suzedell, a very generous local author who has spent her retirement writing children's books to benefit nonprofits.
All the illustrations were lovingly crafted by local artist Susan Kilmartin, who is well-known for her commissioned portraits and for the collaborative public mural in Hingham, MA.
