Conserving Energy

  • Energy audit completed and recommendations implemented
  • Second energy audit performed to capture additional energy conservation measures
  • Infrared scan performed to identify areas of heat loss
  • Additional insulation has been installed and the buildings have been airsealed
  • Lighting audit completed and replaced lamps and ballasts to accommodate LED lighting
  • All incandescent light bulbs have been replaced with LED bulbs
  • Dishwasher was replaced with a high-efficiency model
  • Refrigerators have been replaced with EnergyStar models
  • Programmable thermostats installed
  • Two heat pumps were installed for energy-efficient heating and cooling powered by our solar arrays
  • High efficiency pellet boiler installed in office building
  • Recycling and compost program

Buying Electricity Generated from Renewable Sources

  • 100% green electricity purchased from Green Energy Consumers Alliance (New England Wind product) for all electricity not produced on site.

Electric Vehicle Charging Station

  • Two Level 2 J1772 connector plugs that are compatible with all makes and models of EV (Tesla owners may need to use an adapter to connect their vehicle).
  • Each plug provides about 25 miles for every hour of charging time
