A Birding Year at Arcadia: Winter

Description

Bird our favorite winter phenomena over three months with skilled naturalists as your guide. December opens with winter birds and feeders, exploring which species stay through the cold and how to attract them to your yard. January turns to owls, with an evening session that ventures into the winter night. February closes with winter raptors, scanning the fields for large, hungry hunters.

Each session begins inside before heading out for about 90 minutes of active birding on Arcadia's trails. Strengthen your birding skills, meet other birders, and learn more about bird conservation work happening at the sanctuary and beyond.
