Exploring Coastal Cape Cod: Pamet Area Trails

Description

The ever-changing coastline of Cape Cod is vibrant, diverse, and dynamic. Barrier beaches, salt marshes, tidal flats, coastal heathlands, and maritime forests are just some of the incredible systems we will explore in this series of hikes that celebrate these unique and essential habitats dotting our coastline.

Join us as we explore the varied landscapes north of the Pamet River. This exploration will include quiet pine woods, dramatic bluffs, hills and valleys, peeks of the Atlantic Ocean, and time on the Outer Beach. This hike is 4-5mi in length.

During the program, we make stops to enjoy birds, other wildlife, and the area's unique cultural history. We will also take water breaks and stop for lunch.
