Description
Get a behind-the-scenes tour of Wellfleet Bay's sea turtle lab, where cold-stunned sea turtles begin their journey to recovery after being rescued from local beaches. Discover how sea turtle staff collect data on each turtle, identify the different species, assess their condition, and prepare them for transport to the New England Aquarium's sea turtle hospital. Using real equipment and sea turtle models, participants of all ages can step into the role of a sea turtle scientist and experience the conservation work that helps give these remarkable animals a second chance.
