A Nature Year at Wellfleet Bay: Winter Series

Description

Take on a year of nature study three months at a time.

This winter block gives you three outings with a Mass Audubon naturalist at Wellfleet Bay: reading mammal tracks in January sand and snow, identifying trees by bark and bud in February, and watching American Woodcocks perform their spiraling courtship flights at dusk in March. Each meeting digs into a fresh subject, deepening your connection to this remarkable place as you experience the coastal landscape's shift from deep winter into the first stirrings of spring.

The three-month option exists to make a yearlong program easier to say yes to, and the full twelve months are waiting if it hooks you.
